No disrespect intended.
It's like saying "what if their really is a Santa Claus?"

Since there's not, the implications of the "What if?" aren't important to the decision.

Let's take your proffer and reverse it- What if hetrosexual is genetic and homosexual is a closed social aberation? No dice for homo genetics, just a closed darwinist enviro-bio-societal deviation. Ya got a clue, or just pretendin' to...

Yes you are right, it is TV and music that is allowing this to become the standard. Parents, teachers, and especially administrators are in a quagmire on this subject. The old damned if you do scenario. Don't even get me started with the d if you do, d if you don't scenario. It applies to a LOT of stuff nowadays. No matter what some teachers do, there are some vultures flying around waiting to attack--whether it be an intenerant media, certain kids or parents, certain fellow teachers, or the education liberals (those who use liberal methods against education), it can be precarious being a teacher. Luckily, my flexible and low-key way of doing things have so far staved off any real negative stuff happening, but you never know when something is going to happen, especially as a male teacher.

I won't go into all of the scenarios of d if you do and d if you don't. You've probably seen them all anyway. I certainly have seen a lot. Fortunately, the great majority of people I deal with are pretty level-headed.

I have to let you know how the day went. Only 5 out of my 90 + students participated. However, one of my students in 4th period (the last period), wore a tee-shirt and on the front he wrote, "God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve." and on the back he had: Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. I question him and asked if he wore it in other classes and he said no teacher had reported him or made him take it off. He told me if "they" had the right to promote their views he did too.

Does it also have the part of Biblical teaching that says homosexuality is an abomination?

The answer is yes. References: Lev. 18:22, Deut. 23:17, Isa. 3:9, 1 Cor. 6:9, 1 Tim. 1:10, Jude 1:7.

The gays use the reference Genesis 1:31 to rationalize homosexuality. "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." (KJV). Apparently, every thing includes homosexuality.

Glad to hear that. I wish more would have participated, not because of the gay issue, but to keep the kids quiet.:). Let's have days of silence on every political issue there is and we'll have silent classrooms too. I just had a disturbing thought. Maybe all of us public school teachers are not out to spread the gay issue as the ed-libs allege. You must have not been doing your job if only 5 of your students took part. I am REALLY not doing my job if none of my students (or for that part no student I know around this area) took part. What are we going to do? Guess we'll have to name more kids Steve.
