I'll really be a believer when Jefferson County--and the "Golden Triangle" join the tsunami!

Last Nov. we voted out Lampson and elected Ted Poe to Congress. Beaumont and Port A. tend to the conservative candidate both (R) and (D). Houston, however, is a lost cause.

My hometown of Beaumont is the bluest of the blue, as far as I can tell (haven't lived there since the 50's). It is such a huge union town, though--unless things have changed.

And you're right about Houston. Can you say "Sheila Jackson Lee? LOL!

That wasn't because of Jefferson Cty was it?.... Wasn't it more because Harris and Liberty Counties?
