I can explain it more simply. Smart kids are generally treated poorly by their peers from an early age. This generates an inferiority complex and social awkwardness that lasts into adulthood. Many women can sense this lack of self esteem and social experience and are repelled by it.
And all along, we have been given this bogus propaganda that women were the ones with the great virtue of compassion and empathy.
