If you were going to be walking across Africa on foot, would you rather have your guide be the guy on this planet with the highest I.Q., or a caveman who lived a million years ago that had an I.Q. of about 50... but who grew up being chased by lions and all kinds of animals that wanted to eat him all his life? I stopped reading right there. What does it matter? Both the person with the high IQ AND the caveman will have the sense to outrun you. One of the choices should have been to question the need to walk across Africa. If that doesn't work at least select a handicapped caveman. :-)

I'd pick the caveman because the batteries in Stephen Hawking's wheelchair would only last about 5 miles or so.
