I've never understood this phenomenon. I've always thought that "bad boys" is just a euphemism for losers.

The 'women like bad boys or jerks' is a strawman - it's mostly repeated by men who consistently don't do well in attracting women and sexually exciting them.

It's used primarily to give nice, lonely men the moral high ground - despite their inadequacy, they can be assured they are deep down a better quality of man.

It's mental illness, as far as I am concerned.

I've never understood this phenomenon. I've always thought that "bad boys" is just a euphemism for losers.

IMHO....women who are attracted to these 'types' are confusing the generated fears/apprehensions/stress/strain/anxiety/nervousness/discomfort with a sexual tension, a sexual attraction. They may even classify it as a 'chemistry'. Hence they are fooled and fooled again. Again, just my 2¢
