Here we go again.... this kind of social chatter occurs every few days on FR, it seems(during the Schiavo mess, there was a bit of a lull..)Maybe it is needed I guess.

BUT-- I have some questions-- and I think other men have them too, but are afraid to ask, for fear of retaliation from other Freepers. Since I ALWAYS get flamed, at nearly every post, I am getting used to it now.

(1) in the mid to later '80's, A study was made by some prominent psychologists, stating that men should NOT be turned on ,by a woman's dress, in other words, appearance, and clothing, or, lack of such. IE;if a naked woman walks by a man, he should NOT respond, either verbally OR physically. This was on Oprah a LONG time ago, and led to the Visual-harassment laws now present, where a man (ONLY a man) can get CHARGED by LOOKING at a woman, in skimpy attire, for more than 9 seconds!!)(IMHO-- all of this was engendered by the homosexual movement, designed to drive a wedge between the normal male-female relationship and flirting skills, but, I digress....)

(2) Women get upset because men, especially nice men, don't talk to them much.... BUT... a MAN can get CHARGED with HARASSMENT for merely telling a woman "you look nice today", or asking out a woman ONCE, or similar. SO-- how does a man safely approach another woman, without fear of repercussions?

(3) some women say "all sex with men is rape", I think these are probably lesbians. BUT-- you have all of these channels, that cater to the "men are always rapists/murders/molesters", such as "lifetime", daily grinding this into womens heads.

(4) if women do NOT want men to look at them, WHY then, do they dress in such a way, as to get men to do so? If they do not want men to look, who then, do they desire to notice them? other women? I do not ask this, to be funny-- rather, it seems that today, a lOT of women and womens groups, are sending so many mixed messages to men, such as-- stay away, or i'll sue, then, "where are you?, or "don't look at me" and then"why won't he notice me?, don't speak to me, or i'll sue, and then, "why won't he just talk to me"... and such. so what is it-- are men supposed to ignore women, or talk to them, and when is it safe to do so, without "breaking the law?

My advice? Don't listen to what "women's groups" say. Device a way to test for a feminist! and steer clear! The feminist movement is the worst thing that ever happened to women!

Find a conservative women, and you're all set. Feminists are Libs. Doesn't hurt if she is a country music fan either, it shows she is more wholesome.

The behaviors you listed are not peculiar to women in general. They are peculiar to victim-feminists.

Deal with them as you would with poisonous snakes: Learn to recognize them and stay clear of them.

(1) in the mid to later '80's, A study was made by some prominent psychologists, stating that men should NOT be turned on ,by a woman's dress, in other words, appearance, and clothing, or, lack of such.

Men do get sexually excited by a woman's appearance - it's normal.

For practical purposes that would only apply in the workplace. A man can safely approach a woman without fear of legal entanglements by just keeping the romantic agenda outside a work environment, and by not being rude.

(3) some women say "all sex with men is rape",

I suspect these women have a 'grab bag' of what I call 'issues' or 'baggage,' and aren't the kind of women I would consider for a healthy relationship.

(4) if women do NOT want men to look at them, WHY then, do they dress in such a way, as to get men to do so?

I think women dress well and flatteringly as much to impress other women almost as they do to impress men. Women like being pretty - it's normal.

Don't take any of this type of stuff too seriously - the truth s none of it has anything to do with attracting a good, compatible woman, and keeping her happy. Let the nutcakes go out and enjoy their misery, if that's what they want. You don't need to find millions of good women, you just need to find one. ;-)

You bring about good questions and I hope I don't get flamed, but I'm used to it. B-) Anyhoo, I think what the "free love" and rabid feminist movements from the 1960's caused a lot of the problems we have between men and women today. Basically, you have the idea of a "superwoman" coming about who didn't need men and could be a man when she wants to be, much like you turn a TV on or off. There are times that I think the social upheavels of the 1960's should have been aborted, again there are times I wish I had a time machine. I'll be 39 in July and there are times I do shake my fist at those 1960's radicals and say to them, "thanks a heap for ruining my country."

In the beginning, the old Victorian feminists wanted doors open up for women, they wanted the opportunities to exist if a woman choosed to go into a career. I have no problem with that and encourage it, but like anything else, the requirements for the job/career in question need to be met on their own merits, regardless of gender, skin color, etc. Say if the job requires a 4 year degree or to carry a 100 lbs pack, then it should apply to all equally. I know in some cases, depending on those requirements, you might get more women then men who could meet them or vice versa. There are differences between the genders and the rabid feminists want to erase that. Good luck in trying to change God's work from what He intended, but they still try.

Well, here is another voice in the wilderness, even though you might remember me and also see my posts on Audio Karma as well. B-)

You are right in your observation in how our society has been traumatized by the feminist propaganda and brainwashing of women.
It's not that women don't want men to look at them, or flirt, it's just, they want the " MR. RIGHT " " MR. GOOD BAR " the " PERFECT MAN " to look at them.
If he is tall, handsome, educated, hunk, built, then, yes, he can look at her, all others NEED NOT APPLY ( kind of like employment today, were we got some employers stating, if your a white male, WHITE MALES NEED NOT APPLY ).
