The media has self censored itself, to the point where you would hardly know there was ever an attack.

Folks

This is most assuredly a good thing. We need to make sure people never forget...and more important, never forgive.

If this helps schoolkids learn about this ten years from now, so much the better.

Yup. All my friends in the NYC media openly admit it, as long as you ask them off the record. The public was not allowed to see or hear even ten percent of just how horrific that day was, and it's purely because the MSM itself decided we couldn't handle it. (The government had nothing to do with it.) There are pictures, audio and video of that day that are thousands of times more grotesque and sickening than what was actually published. And nobody but employees of the MSM will ever see them, until and unless someone at some news organization smuggles some out.

Not only that, but almost all the video and audio that was put on the air on 9/11 has been disappeared off the net. You'll find a few seconds of the second plane hitting the tower here and there, but that's about it. There used to be many hours' of video from dozens of TV and radio networks available online; it's all gone now.

(None of the truly startling still photography was ever published of course, not even on 9/12.)
