I am of the opinion that if a large population of conservatives would get their heads out of where ever they have been buried for the "last couple of decades" he would've have to draw attention to the issue.

I hear you.

The main problem has been that for most conservatives, this hatred of religion by the left has always been a distant thing, not really having an effect on them or their daily lives. As a result, they've allowed the hate and bigotry to fester and grow, with plenty of loving care and nourishing by the MSM, until it has started to become something big enough so that they can no longer pretend it doesn't affect them.

Will the current excesses by the left be enough to shake us from our lassitude, or will we just say, like we have all along, that it will all go away with time?
