Clinton also raised money for herself at a $1,000-a-head party earlier in the day at the Wayzata home of Vance Opperman. Reports put that crowd at several dozen people, with Clinton deftly deflecting inquiries about her potential as a candidate in 2008.

"I'm worried about my country," she said at the Humphrey Day Dinner at the Minneapolis Hilton.

"I'm worried we are not living up to the expectations and accomplishments of those who came before."

"We have our work cut out for us and so we fight on," said Clinton, at a sold-out dinner that raised nearly $300,000 for the DFL. "I think it does take a village to raise a child, and it does take Democrats to raise our hopes again."

We are headed to a brave, new world of extremism

Hillary--You can't enact the Saul Alinsky agenda until _after_ you are elected. ;-)

"We stand against their radical, reactionary right-wing agenda."

I see. So opposing your radical Left-wing agenda by going middle of the road and slightly conservative is radical.

OOOooooooo Kaaaaaaayyyy.

"We are headed to a brave, new world of extremism, and we need to make clear we're not going there," she told a sellout crowd of 2,000 who paid $100 a head to see her. "We stand against their radical, reactionary right-wing agenda."

More like a cowardly new world of authoritarian socialism. It disturbs me that so many people were willing to pay anything to see her, not to mention that amount.

Considering that there was a time when they would have payed $1000 a head, I'd say she is dredging the bottom, wow she made $200,000.

Did the democrats dig up Paul Wellstone for this party, or did somebody forget to invite him?

And I can't wait to see Hillary play the saxophone on the Arsenio Hall Show. Oh, wait a minute...

Clinton sounded every bit the stumping presidential contender as she slammed the Republicans for driving up the national debt

Ok Hellary .. How about we start with cutting your pork funded prgrams to bring down the debt

Put Up Or Shut Up!

I'm a right-wing robot. I follow Rush Limbaugh's orders. I'm too brain-dead to think for myself and I'm outta mainstream. Hillary's preaching to the converted. She won't pick up a lot of Dittohead admirers by calling them fat, stupid slobs.

The radical leftist rails against the radical right.

Seriously, is there anyone better at polarizing the country than Hillary?

"Sellout" is a good word to use there, I note.

She will get less votes than Kerry. The issue is what candidate Karl Rowe will choose for the GOP to run against her.

"She's boring, that's all there is to it."

True, and stylistically she sounds a lot like Fidel Castro and other Commie aparatchiks.

Regretfully, this clicks with certain leftie types who think that this is profundity.

Regards,

While channel surfing last night I caught her on C-Span. All I could think was how could ANYONE, after listening to that shrill harpie, even consider electing her CIC?
