Me: I don't consider the blood-drinking ceremony to be a major part of his preaching, do you?
You: Major? It is the center of Christianity. It is the Gospel in its entirety.
The eucharist is the Gospel in its entirety? More important than the Sermon on the Mount???
What you are saying is that God did not send his son to earth to tell the people how to live, he merely sent him here to die. That makes no sense.
You: Jesus died for us.
One man cannot die for the sins of another. The Old Testament says that three different times. Each man is responsible for his own sins.
Your questions proves your ignorance. You have a basic misunderstanding of christianity. You are arguing against a straw dog of your own creation. Do yourself a favor, study it before you continue to embarrass yourself.
All of Judaism is about substitition for sins. Your ignorance of christianist is surpassed by your ignorance of Judaism.
"What you are saying is that God did not send his son to earth to tell the people how to live, he merely sent him here to die. That makes no sense."
It makes a lot of sense if you read the true Gospels - the NT - and convert to accept Jesus as the only Savior.
