Are you going to acknowledge that the original Hebrew-Christians all became extinct by approximately 300 AD? That there has been no continuous Jewish-Christian denomination since that time?
"The Board of Missionaries to the Jews" was a 19th-Century conversionist group which changed its name to "Jews For Jesus" in the 1970's. Maurice aka "Moishe" Rosen is an ordained Baptist minister. Whether or not he has actual Jewish ancestry I do not know.
I happen to know many former Christians who have become devout Orthodox Jews and Noachides. The difference between you and me is that I don't wave this around in your face and cry "NA NA NA NA NA NA" like Eric Cartman.
All I'm saying is that the first Jews for Jesus were named Matthew, Mark, John, etc. -- and if not for their writing and witness, Christianity today wouldn't be what it is - the biggest religious movement (or, for that matter, the biggest movement of any kind) in the history of mankind.
To my knowledge, you are correct, but I'm not a scholar.
...and to which I might reply, "the rejection of Christ the Messiah was foretold in advance by Jewish prophets centuries before he came. His own people rejected him, just as predicted."
So...you've just made the point for the opposition argument on that one, Alouette. ;)
Peace.
