Prayers for TexasCowboy!
TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.
Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.
So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.
Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!
Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.

You can not keep someone like El-Roy down. We need to warn the hospital to put the beauty challenged nurses on his ward.
Hang in there El Roy. Get well soon so we can shoot that Riot Gun of yours. I have a couple of new toys also.

The way TexasCowboy described the problem here a couple of weeks ago, he's not having hip replacement surgery. It's something to do with the sciatic nerve getting encased in muscle after twisting his leg on the job.
Still, nobody likes the idea of getting stabbed in the butt with a scalpel, but from what I can tell, it felt worse than that before the surgery. His recovery should be fairly quick, especially since he's still a healthy, crusty TexasCowboy.
