The people who are making this movie have a considerable record. "Chariots of Fire" was a terrific movie. "Chinatown" is a brilliant film noir, one of the best. "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is a cult classic that has remained alive for more years than you could imagine, although I have no particular desire to see it.
What I'm getting at is that this movie is likely to be more than just another stupid Hollywood bomb. Which perhaps is bad news, since it might be better if it were.
Are you familiar with Bloodline of the Holy Grail: The Hidden Lineage of Jesus Revealed, by Laurence Gardner?

Gardner lays out an interesting argument that Moses and Akhenaten (born Amenhotep IV) were the same person. I wonder if this movie will be drawing on this source.
Chinatown had an great premise for a film noir, but I thought it was done pretty poorly. I am a fan of noir, but I was very disappointed in that film.
