God isn't too pleased with Miriam & Aaron's commentary.
I am consistently surprised how many devout and well meaning religious folk (of many races) I have encountered who are under the impression that there is somehow an Old Testament prohibition on interracial marriage. The cite referenced most often (it escapes me know) I learned years ago had nothing to do with race at all and only an abnormally narrow - and indeed wrong - interpretation could lead one to think that.
As I was saying, a lot of well meaning folks have been put in the position of being apologetic or somehow have to excuse a biblical prohibition on interracial marriage and relationships. A shame, as I said, since none really exists.
Bible study is a hobby of mine - based on your replies I will go out on a limb and figure you know a lot more about scripture than I do! Thanks for chiming in.
Anyway, it's clear to me that God doesn't like his children to bear some prejudice against each other over differences in skin tone.

No doubt about that.
I'm always in learning mode. Always. Everytime I think I know something, something else hits me in the face and U start all over again.

Is it the reference about being unequally yolked? I've heard
that one used against interracial relationships multiple times.
