It can't.
That picture looks better in black and white.
Yes--I already wrote "Hugh Hudson"
I Dreamed of Africa (2000)
Lost Angels (1989)
Revolution (1985)
Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes (1984)
Chariots of Fire (1981)
I love that movie, and usually watch it every Easter when it's on TV. Course we were out of town and I missed it.
I saw that picture. Now she was a DOLL! A real DOLL!!
Hey, I am an oldster... I can still remember her crying....."MOSES.....Moses...."
Made you realise that Mose was on a true mission from GOD... to turn HER down!!
bump
Blasphemy. That's all it is is blasphemy.
The people who are making this movie have a considerable record. "Chariots of Fire" was a terrific movie. "Chinatown" is a brilliant film noir, one of the best. "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is a cult classic that has remained alive for more years than you could imagine, although I have no particular desire to see it.
What I'm getting at is that this movie is likely to be more than just another stupid Hollywood bomb. Which perhaps is bad news, since it might be better if it were.
I wonder why everyone must assume he did turn her down.
Why would he have turned her down? Prior to finding out who he was of course... he was not written as chaste. He later married. Why is it Blasphame?
She has nice ears, though they look a little like Mr. Spock's.
She's an elf.
This was my son's first year to be able to see it. I had my husband tape the last two hours so he could finish it the next night. We got to the part where the Egyptians were crossing the Red Sea and the tape ended. Errrrrrrr. Guess I'm going to have to try to rent the darn thing so my son can finish the movie before next Easter.
Is this guy on drugs?
Haven't you seen "The Ten Commandments"?
Heh it is really long... longer than most tapes!
That was hot hot hot!
If I remember from the 10 Commandments (Charlton Heston), her name was NEFETERI (sp) not Nefertiti. Queen Nefertiti is the one who sports the huge, tall, head gear....
Thank you!
I thought I was the only one who had ever seen the movie.
The way she says "Moses...MOSES"
;)
Well, the hubby put in a tape that hadn't been rewinded. So he is in the dog house big time. It is humorous that it stopped right in the middle of one of the most exciting parts of the movie. Okay, it's funny now. It wasn't then.
Anne Baxter .... Nefretiri
