My son labels himself as a Conservative Catholic/ Southern Baptist (he spent a few years before returnin to the Catholica Church in his young years it is where he learned to read the Bible, many times over and he loves Mark Lowry)
That is certainly a unique combination - Southern Baptist/Catholic. But it is always good to remember that we are all Christians. I guess my respect for the Catholic church has stemmed from my years spent in SW Ohio - a predominantly Catholic region of the state. I have learned that these folks are every bit as conservative as us Southern Baptists. We agree on many issues.
