Clinton Joins Democrats' Values Push (Hillary trying to move to the center again!)

WASHINGTON - Congress should pass legislation protecting religious liberties in the workplace, and America should help Iraqis write a constitution that will respect freedom of conscience even if it is "against their traditions," Senator Clinton said yesterday.

"Religious liberty is one of the most important issues on the world's agenda today," Mrs. Clinton told the Religious Liberty Annual Dinner of the Seventh day Adventist Church.

Freedom of conscience is often "a bellwether for human rights," she said.

The senator's religiously themed speech comes as Democrats seek to identify anew with the "moral values" that were said to play a role in the Republican victories in November's election.

The senator's strong endorsement of legislation that is opposed by some abortion-rights and gay-rights groups is likely to add to speculation that she is moving to the political center ahead of a potential 2008 presidential candidacy. But the issue of religious liberty is one she has championed consistently since arriving in the Senate.

Elected in 2000, Mrs. Clinton has been one of only a handful of bipartisan co-sponsors of the Workplace Religious Freedom Act, which would require employers to accommodate their employees' religious observances when reasonably possible. Critics say the law could enable religious zealots to discriminate against or harass gay workers or interfere with women's access to birth control or abortion.

America should help Iraqis write a constitution

Bzzzzzzzzzt. Wrong. America should stand aside while the Iraqis write their OWN constitution.

"Congress should pass legislation protecting religious liberties in the workplace...."

This, from the wife of a man who (during the 90's) tried to eliminate religious freedom from the workplace through administrative means in the unelected/unaccountable EEOC.

She MUST be exposed for the liar and forked-tongue individual she is. Let no one be fooled.

This is going to be the farse of the century...playing to every weak mind they can get to.

The MSM went out of there way not to ask Hillary her opinion about the Terry Schiavo situation in Florida. Hmmm, I wonder why that was. Hillary was suspiciously quiet regarding this.

The MSM has been pushing her to run in 2008 by polling and polling for her until they got the results they wanted. She's a fool if she believes those polls. I've been lurking on the Leftist boards and they are fuming and cursing at her for trying to move to the center and trying to fool people. The Leftists are NOT fooled by her at all. Contrary to what the MSM thinks. They are starting to really hate that woman as much as we do.

Because the MSM is protecting Hillary from any hardball questions. They are pushing and pushing for her to run in 2008. She is the MSM's favorite right now.

The GOP country club power brokers better get this straight and fast:

Find us an heir to Ronaldus Maximus. If you try to use your typical "Our 'moderate' candidate's the lesser of two evils" strategy on your base again, as you have in every election before and after RR, we will not turn out for you. And sHrILLARY will be president.

=====
As usual, which we watched for eight disasterous years, the MSM will run interference for the Clintons. They will avoid ANY TOPIC that exposes them for what they are, and hype every LIE that tries to portray them as WHAT THEY ARE NOT.

"Religious liberty is one of the most important issues on the world's agenda today," Mrs. Clinton told the Religious Liberty Annual Dinner of the Seventh day Adventist Church."

Religious liberty? For who/whom? Mrs. Clinton's idea of "Religious liberty" is to be "free" from those who are "religious."

How can these people forget how Billary Clinton and her bulldog Janet Reno took the liberty to torch almost 80 "Seventh Day Adventists" at their Branch Dividian Compound in Waco the last time she was in office?

Perhaps she's preparing the Seventh day Adventists to be led to the slaughter again in the event she is elected for a third term; ya think?

How gullible can these people be?

Find us an heir to Ronaldus Maximus.
======
This will be tough. Ronnie was a 1000 year man. A staunch conservative, a protector of the Constitution, anti-Communist all the way, and a supreme 'reader' of human beings...no, amongst the GOP country club, I see NOTHING. The objective of keeping a Marxist out of the White House is key, so the GOP had better grow up, wise up, and STAND UP to the task at hand AND START RUNNING THIS COUNTRY. They have control of every bully-pulpit RIGHT NOW -- and what are they doing? Counting every illegal alien and just loving THE UNIFICATION OF OUR CONTINENT, NOT REDUCING GOVERNMENT SPENDING, NOT STANDING HARD AGAINST THE LIBS...

They will be easy to beat in 2008 if they keep it up...

"Religious liberty is one of the most important issues on the world's agenda today," Mrs. Clinton told the Religious Liberty Annual Dinner of the Seventh day Adventist Church.

Very nice rhetoric, but when will Clinton back up that rhetoric with actions?

When will Hillary introduce a bill to change the IRS 501 (c) 3 tax exempt status of churches, so that church pastors can freely express political views from their pulpits?

Let's see some action from Hillary instead of just words.

If the American people have not figured out by now that the Klintoons will lie about anything as long as it fits into their agenda, then they never will figure it out.
