No. Illegal immigration only became a problem after Mr. Reagan issued his amnesty. I remember the years before his terms. You did not see Mexicans, except in California and some other border states. I said immigration, not illegal immigration.

No, it hasn't. Because people who want to come, and will do so legally, don't get to come until and unless they get processed. That is controlled by law and enforced.
