A creature eixisting over multiple centuries requires a population of them. At least two with offspring. Or absolute minimum, a male and female if the species is to continue. So we are supposed to believe not one but a community of aquatic dinosaurs populate an inland lake and are able to evade

1. sonar
2. tourists with cameras
3. expedition after expedition trying to detect them

in a lake?

The Loch Ness monster does not exist.
