That is awful. I was recently told by someone who works in a nursing home near us (recently sold by my church's synod to a private company) that active euthanasia took place there. A family had two parents, one in the home and one at 'home'. Both were bedridden and incoherent but very much alive and not in a PVS. They got a doctor to order a very large dose of sedation, none of the nurses would give it because they refused to kill a human being. So, family hired a private duty 'nurse' who administered the drug, the patient died. Then, the 'nurse' went to their home and took care of the other parent, who died the next night.
I know a doc who used to be a ME, next time I run into him I think I'll ask him if he knows this is going on.

It's amazing how many people think this is all ok.

Maybe some good will come out of Terri's death if it brings national attention to this national travesty. I believe that most people will be revolted by these accounts and it may bring more people over to the life side of the aisle when they see the slippery slope that abortion has created.
We were warned.

I trust your friend reported the "private duty nurse" for murder.
Because if not, she's part of the problem.
