The only reason we even found out about this is because someone actually became concerned and tried to stop it. Otherwise, this probably happens ten times per day by grandkids who are anxious to get an inheritance.
This bimbo has no telephone, so she probably needs the money.
Convenience is so important to the trailer trash these days. Babies are inconvenient, so they can be killed before they're born - grannies are invonvenient, and their money can come in handy, so the minute granny gets sick have her knocked off and taker her stuff.

Moral Absolutes Ping.
It looks as though starving and dehydrating helpless people to death is now a common practice. For people who see separately - "It's only happening to old people" or "Terri S. was brain dead [lie] - I wouldn't want to live like that", or "people like that are about to die anyway", or "it would actually cruel to keep a baby like that alive" means that it's only a matter of time before the line demarcating those who are allowed to live from those who must die will creep closer and closer to - well, to them. And to us.
The question is - what are we going to do about it? Another question, why are medical professionals so eager to murder the very people they are supposed to help?
Let me know if you want on/off this pinglist.

It seems to me the most disturbing part of this story is the institutional indifference of the mass media. We're teasing about the tabloid nature of WND - but it's a much worse harbinger if WND is the only outlet that cares enough to report it.
That, my friends is the slippery slope. Public indifference.

"Grandmama is old and I think it is time she went home to Jesus," Gaddy told Magouirk's brother and nephew, McLeod and Ken Mullinax. "She has glaucoma and now this heart problem, and who would want to live with disabilities like these?" Besides, we need that money Grandmama will be using for her health care so we can take care of the children of the illegal Mexicans. Remember folks, you heard it here first.

Glaucoma and a heart problem...well, that being said -
The mentally retarded have such a hard life, lets help them go to a better place.
The soldiers who have lost their limbs, they too have such a hard life, shouldn't we simply help them end their misery?
The daily life of the elderly is so difficult - so difficult..lets help them to a better place.
Blind? Good heavens - what a plight. Such a terrible life no one would want to live.
Lets send them all the Jesus.
It just boggles the mind and breaks the heart. God help us.

I was asked for permission to do this to my mother when she was admitted to JFK hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ, after suffering a fall. She was about 89 and the doctor said that she had lived a good long life and that I should consider the quality of life that she would have if she recovered.

And people want to legalize euthanasia and more suicide assisted deaths. God help us should that EVER become legalized in my state - NJ. I think we still lead in the most abortions.
