We can justify all day long so that we feel we have no obligation to care about this case.
But, no matter who has custody, they are still killing grandma against her wishes. Custody does not mean right to murder.

Oh boy, and imagine her explaining this one to her class of 5 and 6 year old kids.

No, you won't see it in the MSM and you know that.
Since when could you ever depend on the MSM for anything other than lies?

It'll all be whitewashed over with "it's a family decision." No matter that some of the family is running roughshod over the rest, or someone gets starved to death.

"Grandmama is old and I think it is time she went home to Jesus," Gaddy told Magouirk's brother and nephew, McLeod and Ken Mullinax. "She has glaucoma and now this heart problem, and who would want to live with disabilities like these?"Why don't you let "Jesus" decide that, you little tyrant? Isn't it funny how these liberal family members always try to slap the Christian family members in the face with "what would Jesus do"? Must have picked up the talking points from the DNC or DU on how to incorporate "faith" talk in liberal policy arguments...
You're in for a rude awakening when you meet the REAL Jesus, Gaddy...

Looks like granddaughter is tired of caring for grandma and does not want all her money going for nursing home care. And, she does not want to pay herself. So, she just resorts to murder claiming she would never want to live that way. I'm sure she would not - especially if she could get grandma's money - what little was left.

Right. The reign of the ghouls. This is almost like a science fiction movie.
Sounds like a very sad story. Poor grandma, unable to see, dependent on someone to bring in food and that someone would rather see her dead.

And Grandma has a will.
It seems if you don't have a will, they murder you, and if you HAVE a will, they murder you.

Yes. A) the timing is odd. B) the premise that a
granddaughter has the right to make a life-or-death decision on her
grandmother's behalf when there are closer relatives is, well, fishy.
Bait.

OMG. I'm sick - again. Literally sick over this. I just don't understand people like this. Same here. And isn't it also sickening how some FReepers will leap to the defense (i.e. give the benefit of the doubt) to the murderous relatives who control the feeding (starving) tube?

Yes, I agree. And in this case the lady executed the appropriate legal documents that should have prevented this from happening. It's a travesty that she thought she'd avoided!
To: Terriergal
Be careful: it may be bait.
(Great tagline BTW. WSC Answer #1).

Don't be too quick to jump on this. Some things in the story don't quite mesh.
