Why does everyone continue to tiptoe around the elephant in the living-room here. The fact is that at least two of those five judges, who are using the Constitution for a floormat, were appointed by GOP presidents.
A 6-3 conservative Court would certainly be a blessing. I am holding my breath to see how things develope.

Well Earl Warren of the Warren court was a republican appointed by Dwight Eisenhower.
Late in life Eisenhower said the biggest disappointment of his presidency was how Earl Warren turned out.
In today's Being a Suprreme court member is as close as anyone can come to being a dictator. It is so hard to determine what a person will do when given that kind of power. The huge power of the Supreme court changes many people. They say power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Absolute power is what the Supreme court has.
I am amazed that we even have one justice that wants to limit his own power.
