You got that right. Although it had already been predicted that he would cave on this huge issue. He ought to at least push for reform that would affect only non-public safety employees and to at least make public safety employees contribute more. We simply can't afford this garbage and, sadly, the average voter either doesn't care or is even informed about out-of-control pensions in CA.

He's certainly been a big disappointment so far.

Seems like the ink is barely dry on the latest hard-assed cost cutting press release, then we get the "Arnie Backs Off" announcement.

Unless he suddenly grows a pair, I don't think he's going to make it in the next election. Just as well.
