"Happen to think there's any co-relation between what you've said and the CBC being far and away to the left of any government we've ever had?"
Yes, I'm sure that this is the case. I do stand by my assertion that their basic news coverage is fair and balanced, however. Even the interviewers sometimes question the lefties, although not often. Still, as morning and evening drive time shows go, it's about the only station around here (Toronto area) with a reasonably intelligent one, rather than a bunch of commercials and inanity. John Derringer on Q107 is generally quite conservative, though, and makes some interesting comments earlier in the morning.
It must be tough living in the Liberal stronghold of Toronto...aka 'the Centre of the Universe'...too bad the Conservatives still won't get much, if any, seats in the 416 area code...we need to hope they do well in the 905 (and a few more NDP seats in downtown won't hurt, after all they can't form government and those are just fewer Fiberals)
One other thing that is probably necessary: try to e-mail the conservative members of the Liberal party to convince them to cross the floor, and the leftist memebers to convince them to join the NDP, which would help erradicate the real Fiberals out there.
The most prominent Liberals-in-name-only: Paul Steckle, Pat O'Brien, Roger Gallaway, Dan McTeague, Paul Zed, Tom Wappel
If Candian liberal voters are like American liberal voters, none of this corruption by their Liberal Party will matter. Bottom line: liberal voters want "free stuff" and as long as liberal politicians continue to provide their parasite constituents with "free stuff" in exchange for votes, none of this other stuff is of any concern.
That's the #1 problem. You can guarantee that the Liberals will be looking every which way to scare people into voting for them in Ontario and Atlantic Canada - such as deceptive and threatening ads (vote for us or you will die, for example)
Do Canadians care? For the past couple of weeks, more then 200,000 Quebec people tuned in PER DAY.
It'll be big soon in the rest of Canada. So one thing is sure:
Liberal already lost Western Canada and of course, Quebec. The main battle will be Ontario, or our Lord and Master Toronto, and Atlantic Canada.
That's correct. However, outside of the Toronto urban area, there are about 70 seats for the Conservatives to take, and they could easily take 55 of them (even if it means a few Liberals crossing the floor - hopefully a few will). The NDP could also get a few, holding on to what they have at least (6 seats outside the GTA).
If Mr. Dithers is limited to the Toronto core + a few others, that is only about 40 seats in Ontario, and even with sporadic seats elsewhere, that will only be enough to get him the Official Opposition, at best.
Realistic seats for the Conservatives right now:
NL - 3, NS - 5, PE - 1, NB - 4, QC - 0, ON - 65, MB - 10, SK - 14 (all), AB - 28 (all), BC - 26, North - 1 (Yukon)
Total: 157 (slim majority)
'99.86%' .... LOL!! Now that's a poll!
1. Have you ever wondered how it is possible that MASSIVE pot grow op and XTC manufacturing is booming in 416/905 without being detected. Not only in warehouses but in densely populated areas (luxury homes, middle class townhouses and apartment buildings). There are billions of dollars in this game.
2. Have you wondered how it is possible that Canada openly supports terrorists and aid them diplomatically, financially and militarily? Who pays for this favor?
3. Have you ever wondered about the total amount of money squandered through rotten deals for choppers, subs and other military equipment? Money buys influence, good or bad. In the meantime, Canadian Military is left without badly needed toys and Canadian territorial waters are left mostly unguarded. Good for business under #1 and #2
4. Last but not least, what group influenced Canadian Government decision to chicken out from U.S. Missile Defence? It is not in Canadian interest. The question is, who is paying the piper? Businesses under #1, #2 or #3?
We also haven't thought about why the gun registry cost $2 Billion, or whats happened to all the money put into Indian Affairs. LOL. Brault.....Tip. Of. Iceberg.
My fear is that the Adscam is only the tip of the iceberg. How much more money did the Liberals syphon from government coffers to their political party that we are not aware of? But then again, being a member of the Liberal party in Canada is like a religion. You are born into it, you are raised that way and that's how you vote. No misdeed is sufficient to change you vote becasue it was all done for the best of Canada. The Liberals have created an amazing large herd of useful idiots that make banana republic politics look simple.
Can you say " food for oil?" My devious mind tells me that the Liberals needed to retain power to protect Chretien, Martin, Demarais et al in thier involvement in Elf Fina and the Iraqi food for oil scandel which will be exposed through Louise Frechette, the Deputy Head of the U.N., another Franco-Phoney Chretien shill appointee. This goes a lot deeper than paying off a few Ad Agencies.
