As Pilate asked, "What is truth?" If academic freedom is "the freedom to seek and transmit the truth," who gets to decide what is the truth? It seems to me that academic administrators could compile a list of politically-correct mantras and demand that faculty spout them, or be fired for not teaching the truth.

Let us not forget that they are now in our grammar schools as well as our preschools. I fear that the "political propaganda" which is being taught at this level will produce monsters that will make the Ward Churchill and Susan Rosenberg's of this country look like Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
