History buffs might have cracked a knowing smile on April Fools' Day when they saw the Daily Number -- 666.
The Book of Revelation calls it the "number of the beast," or the devil's mark.
Pennsylvanians, though, might remember 666 better as the number drawn by Pittsburgh broadcasting pioneer Nick Perry during the so-called "666 fix."
On April 24, 1980, more than 6 million viewers watched Perry pull up the infamous three-digit Daily Number during a statewide telecast from the WTAE-TV studio in Wilkinsburg.

"The number "666" has hit 14 times in Pennsylvania Lottery history."
Well, then...it just goes to show you that playing the lottery is playing into Satan's hands. Ha!

I remember seeing that number flash across the screen here in California. What was so bizarre was that 666 was the winning number on 6/6/1996

Ooooooh...and the low income senior citizens who benefit from the proceeds of the lottery only pay SIX dollars for a prescription. Freaky, huh?
To: toothfairy86
Surely this can only mean the end of the world is nigh! Kumbayah!
