Only the very dense don't understand that sooner or later, Islam will use a nucear device on an American city.
The only way to prevent this is to make it very clear to the Iranian Mullahs, that their country will be "glassed" immediately following that event....no questions asked.

Rather than planning to incinerate millions of people, many of whom hate the mullahs and have no animosity towards us, wouldn't it be better to work towards changing the leadership of Iran?

While many Iranians hate the Mullahs they don't hate a nuclear Iran. They hate the repressive theocracy. What is the theory, that with the Mullahs gone Iran will abandon nukes? I see no connection. And I don't have the faith in the anti- Mullah populace that some seem to.
The nuclear program has to be eliminated.
