Is this a joke?
Millions of illegal aliens stream across the border every year from Mexico, with probably more than a few terrorists mixed in, and WE are suspect?
What word best describes this? Surreal? Denial? Public relations sham?
I usually only get this combined angry/dizzy feeling after reading the latest American Communism Leftist Union scam.
Who's "we"? Americans are made up of many ethnic backgrounds, and if we make it harder for people to pass themselves off as Americans at our legal ports of entry, I don't see what's wrong with that.
It's a separate issue from the clandestine border crossings. Just get a dang passport or don't travel out of the country.
Our family was about to do a simple Bahamas cruise and the red-tape and hassles on us citizens we're TOO MUCH.

Is Vicente Fox upset over this policy? If not, then we still have to worry about streams of illegal immigrants crossing our borders. He realizes that this new measure doesn't affect illegals who obviously cross covertly. From a counterterrorism perspective this can be easily circumvented. It's worth a try I guess.
I'm the one checking people at the ports of entry. Everyone is suspect.
to make my job easier, could you please describe a US Citizen to me, so I don't need to check passports.
