We've been hearing that for years but so far it has not happened.
BTW: It was only this morning that a thread on this site said china was executing more dissidents than ever.
They have also shut down 44,000 dissident websites since last year.
They also want to have the UN control the internet. Any type of control whether by gov'ts or the UN means less freedom. Can I stop now??

In all seriousness, any government that can control a Wal-Mart can easily control you and me. I put more trust in Wal-Mart (which I can sue, refuse to patronize, freely criticize, etc.) than in the government. Even when that government is doing the best it can do.
