I was born in the USA. My mother and father were both born in Oslo. Mom lived on Shublersgate (spelling wrong, probably). I don't know where my dad and grandmother lived. Much of my mother's family were from Hvaler (Vadholm cottage). I found out to my horror (smile) that they were swedish speaking FINNS, not true Norske. I went to Oslo for a month back in 1983 and loved it.
