It is so well balanced. I experimented with mine and didn't clean it for 250 rounds. Never jammed once. The balance and short cycle on the slide really saves your wrist. My Colt .45 makes me tired. The Ruger does not. It's less than half the price of a Glock and much simpler to operate safely. I like the Ruger's exposed hammer and double action when a round is chambered. The Decock lever takes the risk out of lowering the hammer. Most Glock accidents, IMHO, are due to the lack of an exposed hammer and carelessness.
