I have big shoes to feel with the need of Dansangle to take some time off... she was skillful & clever in her presentations (and had about 1560 times more HTML skill than me!) I have already met personally two of the other sistahs (Dutchess & Mama_bear) and hope that perhaps we can all meet eventually (did I mention Bali the other day?)
Not to worry Angel.. I don't have any "thing" for your shoes!
Hello, Dolly! I'm happy you like the 'introduction' - and also glad you're 'late' getting here! I don't know when domania came back - it was so disappointing to post the thread early, only to find once I did, that it was full of white spaces and little red x's. :( (I would have waited had I known the server was down, but everything was there for me when I posted it.)
Welcome, Dolly!
'Inquiring minds do want to know' if instead of filling dansy's shoes you should ask if she will pass along to you Lars and his limo to transport you about to do interviews!!
Sounds far more interesting..:))
As for "I passed on outing with friends to cheer on NC (I lived there for 15 years) and the ACC at the championship game. I slept from 9 - 8:30!,"
I lived in Winston-Salem for 4 years and later Greensboro for 16, Dolly!
I was glued to the TV set last night and was well -- more than enthusiastic - lol.
I first moved (from Florida) to Winston-Salem in February of 1974, and with March Madness soon thereafter, became an instant and lifelong ACC basketball fan.
I cheered on Michael Jordan in his day and many of the now great pro stars, and was so proud of Sean May last night. What a 21st birthday present he gave himself, the team, and his father!!
Working at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro in the 80's, I one year won a large basketball pool with only one $5 entry done one hour before the deadline, choosing the winners of all 64 teams without agonizing over them.
Two others were tied with me going into the Final Game - both North Carolinians - and I bet against NC, and won it all.
I LUV NC!!!
