Where do you get this stuff? My husband has 2 adopted siblings and he and I adopted 3 children, none of the 5 ever began to look like an adoptive parent. I don't know for sure, but I suspect, they all look like their natural parents.
Sorry. I didn't mean to make you angry. I read it in a textbook in school. It said that children tend to take on the physical expressions of adoptive parents, therefore resembling them somewhat as they grow older. Also, it could just be coincidence but my nephew married a girl with a 6 month old baby. Hes 10 now and I swear he looks just like my nephew. And no, there was no hanky panky going on. LOL
You didn't make me angry I just find that the idea that living in the same house with someone makes them look alike. I have heard long married people begin to look alike. I find that ridiculous. Maybe as their bodies thicken up and belly's protrude they look the same but facially, no way.
