Religious are not asked to leave, they leave because they choose to. Am so very glad this one chose to! JPII has always known that women were very much loved by Christ, as are all human beings, even ones with axes to grind. In my humble opinion feminists have no place in religious life. JPII also realized that he was human, very holy but human nonetheless. He did wonderful things for the world during his papacy, I thank God for him as should the world. Again, is just my humble opinion.
It has been brought to my attention that not everyone is Catholic and that not everyone would know that Nuns are also called Religious...please forgive me for assuming that everyone would know that Nuns are also called Religious.
Most Catholics? Since when can you speak for most Catholics? If you are a Catholic there might be things that you disagree with the Pope about, but, being Catholic you live by the rules of the faith, if you don't choose to live by those rules then you are Catholic in name only! Please don't speak for most Catholics, let them speak for themselves!

It is extremely biased...it makes CNN and network news look ultra-conservative...I read that the vast majority of CBC employees are either card-carrying Liberals or from the social activist wing of the NDP (those who say, for example, gay marriage should be forced and there should be no speaking out against such, which is certainly not everyone in the party).
Women who say we need women priests are feminists, plain and simple. Those of us who are comfortable in the role God created for us are much wiser than these silly women, we know just how special it is to be a woman, gotta feel sorry for the idiots!

Yep.......The CBC was up to their usual anti Christian,
pro-homosexual/France tendencies tonight.
They had a feature on the new Pope from Germany.
One of their first lines was how some people were "upset".
They stirred that into a bigger lie later by closing with
"a large faction of the church will be divided on this".
Wrong on all counts again......Canadian Bolshevik Corporation.
Not only that......they happend to interview two rejects
in the papal audience to get their negative opinion on the
Pope. One of them was either a woman from Quebec or France
speaking in French voicing her displeasure.
That really figures.
A second person was idenitifed as an English Canadian
and he spewed something about .."not the choice I would
have made". This guy was a real liberal. He didn't know
what he was doing...but towing the politically correct
CBC party line for the benefit of the cameras was first
and foremost.
And to top it off they had an "ex nun" voicing her
displeasure. Gee CBC.....What did you think an ex nun
would say.......duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
This news organization has a unique way of disgusting
me and a majority of other Canadians.
We need a revolution up here.
Perhaps the new Conservative Gov't will make a difference
or we will just keep a lame duck liberal minority party
while Groups like the Bloc (who espouse to separate from
Canada but in reality use the rest of Canada in a
blackmail forum because Canadians are basically too apathetic to complain or get up in arms abou it) collect
their MP cheques in parliament when they should be working
at some French McDonalds getting minimum wage.
