Thanks, Tx. I'll click over when Ollie North, whom I just love, finishes talking about Hanoi Jane. I wish we took the crime of being a traitor as a serious one. Colmes is being his usual smarmy self.

How can they have the meeting of the judiciary committee, I thought Kennedy was going to Pope's funeral---can anything get done in Washington without Kennedy's attendence or permission? LOL
BTW, do you think that Mel Martinez will get up on Senate floor and apologize for his aide's mistake?

I just saw an interview with Tim Curran of Roll Call, during a quorum call on the Senate floor---
The "voice" asked him what is going on today on Capital Hill and he said not much because of the Pope's funeral, but he did say that there is a kerfuffle (my word) over a judicial nominee that will be going up in front of the judiciary committee today---
Supposedly, this judge is from Utah, but at one point was practicing law w/o a license. Anyway, Curran said that the dems are upset because with Durbin and Leahy missing from the judiciary committee (what about Kennedy?), the vote will be enough to send this guy Thomas (something) to a floor vote, which, (curran said) will be a fight because the dems will be mad that he made it through a "dem-light" committee vote!!!
Anyway, to make a short story long---I guess that means the judiciary committee IS meeting today!!! LOL
