My wife teaches at, and my youngest (16) daughter attends, a Catholic High School. Abstinence is that only thing that is taught there. Not that it is practiced by all students. But this is also a private, religious high school. My children have never attended a public high school so I have no idea (and would probably dread) what is being taught there.
