"in his omniscience, Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer has ruled that Terri was a non-person kept alive with a feeding tube, and that, if she could communicate, shed say: Oh, please kill me. How I long for the excruciating experience of being starved to death over two weeks. "
I think that sums it up

Too bad we can't lock Greer, Felos and her ex-husband in a room for two weeks without food and water and let them experience a peaceful starvation for themselves. It would be a condign punishment for the likes of these creeps.

This probably would not have happened if someone in Terri's family would have made a 'friendly' visit to Terri's 'husband' after the first report of violence was made prior to her 'accident'. I think some religions incorporate a law and a method of resolving the actions/attitudes of those who would commit violence against their wives. Apparently our justice system doesn't, or there would not have been 79 complaints made against the 'husband.'
What seems bizarre to me is why the population -- and the government continue to leave its testicles in the hands of the lesser of the three branches of government.
