I didn't think it posted!
I was having trouble with it...I thought.

hmm...I thought maybe we couldn't post Coulter articles..
That would be way to bad.

I love Coulter, and I'm glad it posted.
FR seems to have some pretty strict rules about what can be posted...so this is good.

Ann gets to the core of the issues, as usual.

I am particularly glad she addressed the phony arguments some conservatives were making to legitimize Terri's murder.

"Also on the pro-killing side are conservatives still pissed off about the Civil Rights Act of 1964 who are desperately hoping to be elected "most consistent constitutionalist" by their local Federalist Society chapters.

You can't grow peanuts on your own land or install a toilet capable of disposing two tissues in one flush because of federal government intervention. But Congress demands a review of the process that goes into a governmental determination to kill an innocent American woman — and that goes too far! "

Ahh, Ann. How I wish the fedgov would endorse human cloning so your brilliance and razor wit could be preserved for the ages. We need you to act as a counterweight against the morons who squawk and fling feces in rebuttal to reason.

Of course, there will be those who demand you be banished to the hinterlands because they don't have the stomachs to stand up for whats right. Those and the Death Cultists are the demise of all thats good and right in the world.

I weep that I've lived so long that those who once I would have called ally are now more dangerous than those who came forward with knives bare. In these strange days, I wonder if the hellspawn aren't going to win and darkness consume us all.

"But spare me the paeans to "strict constructionism" and "limited government.""

Bzzzt! Textualism, federalism, and limited government are more important than any one single individual. But thanks for playing Ann. I always suspected Ann was a lefty plant sent to make us look bad by talking garbage that will alienate people. Guess that's why National Review fired her.

I thought maybe we couldn't post Coulter articles.

Not at all. Ms. Coulter is well liked here. Your difficulty may stem from the fact that this article has been posted before. Sometimes, it would appear, that reposts are permitted when time has passed and some may not have seen the original article. As you are new here, I will point out that there will be a demand for pictures when Ms. Coulter's articles are posted. This demand comes largely from the male posters, though no one here denies that she is quite a lovely person, notwithstanding the disagreements about whether she is too thin. Welcome to FR.

All I want in life is my own personal Ann Coulter.

And all she has to do is hang around and talk to me. Oh, and look good. And maybe make waffles while I'm waiting for the coffee, but that's it.

I'm not asking for much....

But aye, she be a comely wench.

"a counterweight against the morons who squawk and fling feces in rebuttal to reason"

Great statement.

However, I'm having difficulty with this statement: "In these strange days, I wonder if the hellspawn aren't going to win and darkness consume us all."

The only way darkness can consume you is if you aren't acquainted with the light .. because LIGHT ALWAYS DISPELS DARKNESS.

Darkness is everywhere these days. Those who would purport to represent us are driven by lust of power, those who are supposed to be our arbitrators of law are given to delusions of godhood and the best of us die leaving a void filled with nothing but questions and sadness.

The light grows dim and elusive. I know there is hope for the future as I know I will draw my next breath, but I still find despair in those quiet moments when I face the darkness alone.

I have little faith in man and find my faith in the Divine sorely tested in these strange days. Such is the lot of man in the face of evil.

Don't give up...although I'm listening to a BBC newsreader discuss the Pope, and he just said "So John Paul was a Catholic" so, in the fact of such an idiotic statement, maybe we should just pack it in(but we won't).
