After seeing these pictures of the snot-nosed little cretins from the ACLU, I pondered what sort of persons I would rather have coming to and living in the US ... would I rather have the type of people that might be an illegal alien -- a poor person coming here to make a living, albeit in a manner that we cannot condone, or a bunch of self-righteous, bigoted, prejudicial, narrow-minded, socialist assholes with a major holier-than-thou complex, skulls full of mush, and an uber-litigious nature?

I'd pick the illegal aliens every time.

The ACLU observers look to be youngins', and in my opinion they are probably not sure due to youth what the hell they are supposed to be "legally" observing and second they could be future Minutemen recruits if shown the truth.

The first rule to solving any problem (and I agree illegal immigration is a major problem) is to ask "why?" Until people start asking why, the problem won't get solved?

I know. I was speaking in the 'ideal' sense of the noble peasant trying to provide for his family however he can. In that regard, I would much prefer the illegal to the ACLU type.

I wonder, these days, what percentage of illegals still represent this 'idealized' version of the illegal anyway. I believe the percentage of cynical opportunists, reconquista types, and plain old criminals represent a substantially greater percentage of the illegal population now than 20 years ago.

Mexico got screwed over by China. A massive number of manufacturing facilities packed up and went in search of cheaper wages. A bunch of these were Korean and Japanese, so we didn't pay too much attention -- but they left Mexico pretty thoroughly.

Really, IMHO, the last thing these patriots need is their faces and names pasted all over some liberal-commie rag of a newspaper. They have already been targetted by gangs and the Mexican army has been deployed to oppose them.

If the silence from Washington continues, the only viable Republican who will be able to conceivably win more than 25% of the conservative block will be Congressman Tancredo.

Not sure, but they have a stronghold here in Los Angeles, and it is spreading everywhere. I have a girlfriend who has been here since she was 14. Moroccoan. she is taking citizenry classes at the adult school. 99% latino attend these classes. She is always hearing about the takeover of the South West. It is like a club. The only ones who don't know about it are the American Citizens.

"One of the Minuteman Projects patrol points was established across the street from a friend of mine who lives at the base of a canyon a few miles north of the border. This person used to be a die-hard, anti-gun, open borders liberal. She moved out into the canyon and started having problems with illegals. Load vehicles would brazenly pull into her driveway and yard and a driver would step out and wave a flag. Suddenly, dozens of illegals would swarm out of the bushes across the street, into her yard and driveway, and then into the vehicles. This would happen every night just before dark. I was informed about the problem and went to work getting something done to help her.

The Border Patrol apprehended 50 illegals in her yard last week.

She allowed the Minuteman Project to set up a patrol station in her yard. She has armed herself and is becoming quite outspoken about the border situation.

Nothing like a dose of reality to turn a liberal into a conservative real quick. She's on her way."

It's all about awareness and educating the American People to the urgency at hand - namely the unarmed and unchecked illegal migrant invasion and the uncaring and inept response to it by an impotent and hypocritical government.

The immigration crisis and the dereliction of our elected government officials to respond to it will bring down mighty strongholds in 2006.

A revolution has started and the self-serving politicians are at a total loss of how to go about doing damgage control trying to hide the fact the problem even exists in the first place.

The politicians and the media are scared s-less about the Minuteman Plan. If they weren't it would be all over the major news channels. This is the beginning of calm, well thought out peoples non violent uprising against the non performers, ie., major government, the Feds.
