OMG! Why is she in a hospice? Why is she being dehydrated and starved against her living Will, on the orders of someone who is NOT her guardian? What the heck is going on?
As a side note, it says she has an Aortic Dissection. That can be treatable if it's diagnosed correctly.
As I recall, the actor John Ritter (8 Simple Rules and Three's Company) had ,what was later determined to be an Aortic Dissection, but unfortunately, he was misdiagnosed with a heart attack and didn't receive the proper treatment, so he died from it. I believe his family sued for the misdiagnosis.
Prayers for this family. It's just awful what's going on today. I'm certain this is what Terri (God rest her sweet soul) and the Schindler's (God Bless them) are called to bring national and worldwide attention to. Namely the horror's of the euthanasia movement. I'm just so sorry their calling came at such an awful price.
People need to know the truth about this. (I keep getting images of Felos and his sickeningly soft (like a serpent) claims of how "beautiful" Terri looked while dying of dehydration, and all the stupid idiots parroting how "peaceful" it is to die of starvation dehydration-Arrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!).
People buy into these lies. They buy into the "disposable lives" philosophy, because they aren't challenged to really think about what it (euthanasia, abortion) means. I applaud the Schindler's for being able to stay together through all this so that they could tell people the truth.
It's also refreshing to see priests like Father Pavone and the family's spokesperson come out and take a strong stand. I'm so tired of the effeminate, mealy-mouthed, lukewarm clergy who put so much emphasis on the Jesus-loves- everyone-no-matter-what Gospel, that they render themselves unable to make any moral judgments.
It's pretty sickening.
It seems as if you HAVE a will, death is chosen, and your wishes in the will don't count, and if you DO NOT have a will, death is chosen.
They always choose death.
I'm hearing more and more stories about hospices throughout the country, I would definitely not want to go to one - ever.
