If you enjoyed that, you might find this interesting: The future of the Papacy by Samuel Bacchiochi. Start on about page 7 for the actual article to bypass some of the other stuff. It's a PDF format.

He said some mystics were going to travel to heal the Pope. I guess they must have gotten delayed at customs and immigration.

The Mayan calendar also forecasts 2012, but I didn't get the month and day.

Is it true they predicted the cause of the earth's destruction would be by "movement", ie., earthquakes?

The bible says to believe in God, not false prophets.

The Catholic Church, let me assure you, does not buy into this stuff.

I'm getting the idea from this thread that it's mostly the end-timers from Protestantism that are fueling this.

There is when otherwise intelligent people believe it just because it's got a saint's name tacked to it.

Folks are just speculating about the story of this Prophecy

It won't bring the end of the world

Heck, I don't know when the end will come .. for all I know, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow and miss it .. won't know till it happens though

Till then, I'll just take my mothers advice and make sure my bags are packed and in order

The question is does this prophecy take into account the years when there were two Popes, one in Rome and one in France. That went on for quite awhile.

And did not Jesus say that he knew not the "day or the hour", that was only known by the Heavenly Father? That means it could be tomorrow, or the Lord could tarry for a few more hundred years. Either way, be ready.

I think I'll stick with the Word of God.

As for me and mine, we will stand with you on this matter.

God Bless.
