This is true. Americans are of two minds on this issue. We like law and order. We don't like drug smuggling. We don't like Americans being priced out of jobs.
But on the other hand, we like affordable construction and cheaper prices. We like paying illegal, under-the-table, non-taxable wages in cash. We like being able to hire 25 illegals on Monday, and then hire 25 different ones on Wednesday if the first group doesn't work out.
The problem is that illegals are such a part of our economy that Americans really don't know what to do.
I know what to do. Cut off all welfare for illegals and then you will have only the productive ones left.
