Ratzinger is too rigid and we have always jokingly referred to him as the Pope'e hitman.
I don't think he knows how to smile.
The church isint a democracy, thankfully, it is no place to be "soft".
Well, as a Catholic, I think we need a Ratzinger type to clean up the priest abuse problem like the Church has been having in the US. But I could be wrong.
