Just to put this men/women conflict in perspective, next time you are at book store or a supermarket just stop by the magazine section. Count the number of magazines that caters to women, and the ones that caters to men. You will be surprise to find that there are TEN times more women magazines than men. In addition, women magazines deals directly with advising women how to get, and control guys, while men magazines tell guys how to get flat abs/good stereos/....

Also, to put this disproportionate instructional information available to women into a bigger perspectives, you have to count the number of day time soap operas, and talk shows that is essentially nothing but ranting on guys. To the extent that women are filled with false expectations from commercials, that they feel under-appreciated and walk away from marriages. A commercial like that dude who rented a movie theater to celebrate their wedding anniversary...he showed his wedding movie, and gave her a $10,000 diamond ring TOO. Now stupid women who do not get this treatment can fell not loved, and want out. The bad thing is, after they are out they mostly feel stupid that they dumped their husbands.

So there are more women's magazines then men's. I guess if more guys could read . . .

Sorry, I couldn't resist that whine of yours.

you got that right.

not to mention the colleges and universities of america that have "hate men" feminist instruction.

speaking of which, today i was at the university library, asked a female librarian a question, and she yelled at me.

now, if a guy did that in a library...uh...what would happen?

getting bitched-down happens everyday.

Just look at the attention paid to breast cancer vs. prostate cancer.

Most, but not all, of the "men's magazines" on the stands at the local WalMart's and HEB's here in Texas seem to concentrate on Fishing, Hunting, Guns and Cars, not necessarily in that order.

When I do the grocery shopping, I have to bring a paperback book to read while I am in the checkout line. This is because 100% of the magazines in the checkout line cater to women! There isn't a single magazine there that a man can read. And all of these magazines are so shallow! The cover either features the latest fad diet or news about the latest celebrity marriage or divorce. I don't know what women find in this kind of stuff.

Then you got the Victim Channel on TV (a/k/a "Lifetime") that runs endless movies featuring bad men.

While most women will never admit it, it is obvious that many women prefer bad men. It's the strangest thing. The more you treat women like dirt, the faster you get dates!

Anyway, for those men who are decent, there are plenty of good women out there who are looking for a partner. It's just that they tend to be "Plain Janes". You aren't going to find them in the nightclubs and bars though.

I think the fatal mistake many men make is that they go for the "knock-out" blondes every time. Some may get angry by me saying this but by and large, beautiful women are the ones most likely to stick it to a man. Find somebody plain and average and the chances of your marriage succeeding are much greater.

All my opinion, of course!
