Are The Governor and the Judges still ignoring Patient's Rights
Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Patients ^ | October 30, 2002 | Carol Stronstorff

The following letter/fax [May 22, 2000] indicates how our Florida Governor has been ignoring the true case of Zoe E. Stronstorff, which indicates extreme Elder Abuse. (It appears he sacrificed health safety and government funds to protect his corporate cronies (HCA -IHS) and campaign contributing physicians. Whether patients are abused does not seem to concern him. Whether similar incidents could be avoided in the future also seems not to concern him).

Ever since this Terri Schiavo case came up, I too have been wondering about what is going on with our health care, judicial, and government systems. This link was posted on the impeach Judge greer web site. I found it to be very interesting. It is an old case, but has significant merit. Follow the links to the court case. Take a look at what our judges are doing. If anyone else has anything they would like to contribute please do. We need to have our system investigated and these abuses stopped.

Seems to be a pattern emerging between the medical community, the judicial system, and Jeb. Too bad it's the rest of us who are suffering.

I found out that when I was hospitalized before the delivery of my daughter that a nurse was making up results for tests that she hadn't done and putting the made up results in my chart. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't knowledgeable enough to realize that a pregnant diabetic will always have protein in their urine and she documented negative results for urine tests that she never did. She did it because she was too lazy to do a simple urine test which took about two minutes to do.

*Disclaimer* I am not cricizing nurses in general. While I did have some crappy nurses during that time, I also had some wonderful, dedicated nurses.

At least you caught her. I too, am not putting all doctors, nurses, lawyers, or judges in this category, but there seems to be more going on then we know and we need to take action.

Thank you for sharing this with us.

You're right. And we need to keep our eyes open and stay informed.

Don't single out Jeb. There appears to be a pattern emerging between the medical community, the judicial system, the lawmakers (both Senate and House of Reps.), along with concerns about reducing costs for Medicair, Medicaid, insurance companies, and increasing profits for such entitites as hospice...see either my profile page, beginning where it says "connecting the dots," or my posts, beginning around #213, on this thread:

Law changed by Hospice where terri is dying - More information (Unsourced) [note, there ARE sources, just not in the text of the thread]

Maybe I should have put an s on Govenor to include past govenors. However, this particular story shows Jeb. I am still looking for more reports of this kind of injustice. We need to find out what is truley going on with the hospitals, Medicare/Medicaid, insurance companies, judges, lawyers and government. Corruption is there and it is growing.

I have read just a little of your profile and find you very interesting so far. After I read the rest I will get back with you. There is a lot to read. LOL

Very much so. But, as you pointed out, this is definitely not only about him.

I am still looking for more reports of this kind of injustice. We need to find out what is truley going on with the hospitals, Medicare/Medicaid, insurance companies, judges, lawyers and government. Corruption is there and it is growing.

Yes, we do....and yes, the corruption there seems wide and deep.
