Returning to the present, this is an interesting photo of the President at the White House. President Bush opened his weekly radio address today with this statement: "Good morning. Before I begin today, I would like to say a word about Pope John Paul II. His Holiness is a faithful servant of God and a champion of human dignity and freedom. He is an inspiration to us all. Laura and I join millions of Americans and so many around the world who are praying for the Holy Father."

Jenna and Barbara were veiled on the 2001 visit?

I have to say I'm impressed.

Bush could have gotten away with not doing it.

How very lucky they are to have been able to see Pope Paul in person... That's one thing that fame CAN buy ;)
