Terri Schiavo Cremated Amid Family Feud
Saturday, April 02, 2005
TAMPA, Fla. Terri Schiavo's body was cremated Saturday as disagreements continued between her husband and her parents, who were unable to have their own independent expert observe her autopsy.
The cremation was carried out according to a court order issued Tuesday establishing that Michael Schiavo () had the right to make such decisions, said his lawyer, George Felos. He said plans for burying her ashes in Pennsylvania, where she grew up, had not yet been completed.
Terri Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, had wanted to bury their daughter in Pinellas County so they could visit her grave.
Terri Schiavo, 41, died Thursday after the removal of the feeding tube that had kept her alive since 1990, when she suffered brain damage that court-appointed doctors determined had placed her in a persistent vegetative state (). Her parents had fought in court to keep her alive, disputing the doctors' opinions and saying there was hope of improvement.
I have already seen one person on FR admit outright support for euthanasia.
There are many others who prefer to dance around the issue.
Whether she had a eating disorder or not, I am sure she had no clue this could have been her fate.
Whether she had a eating disorder or not, I am sure she had no clue this could have been her fate.
She also gave herself two broken ankles, a spine injury, several other broken bones, hum?
The immediate case is about murder and euthanasia. The folks who were in favor of Terri dying were arguing for euthanasia, which *is* murder.
Er .... YES. When State or Local or even Federal Courts appear to be violating the basic protections of the Constitution and are unwilling to hold off on these apparent violations in the interests of insuring a Constitutional result is obtained then IMO it is entirely appropriate for a higher authority to step in. The Courts are not infallible nor are they incorruptible.
Jim Crow n the South and the numerous violations of the Constitutionally protected rights of Blacks warranted such actions and I really have a hard time differentiating the unreviewed decision making of Judge Greer from some of the summary judgments imposed on Blacks in the South.

What does it take to get through your thick skull ??? Read the italics slowly and carefully... read them out loud... then stand in front of a mirror and watch your lips move while you read those words again and again and again !!!
Jeb may not have personally been in on the "fix"... however...
with all the vast criminal activities underlying the brazen attempted murder of Terri (e.g., transferring her to the six month maximum hospice, a care facility for dying people, and then holding her there for FIVE YEARS while sticking it to Medicare for her care, is grossly illegal) !!!
Jeb could have easily and lawfully began a criminal investigation... and therefore could have lawfully taken Terri into protective custody... but Nooooooooooo... that would have been the lawful, decent, humane and constitutional thing to do... precisely what Jeb Bush should have done... but Noooooooooo... the gutless coward chose to allow Terri to be
.
It's really time lower the temperature around this forum, and your contribution would be greatly appreciated.
That "Death Row" cartoon really brings it home, doesn't it?
Euthanasia involves people who are going to die anyway.
She lived longer than you would have without food and water.
MURDER, Not euthanasia.
I'm sure they know. One of the last acts by the Holy Father was in behalf of Terri.
I do wonder why the Pinellas County M.E. released Terri's body so quickly though. Under the circumstances, I would think they would have wanted to keep it for a short time more just in case they needed to redo something.
Greer is not a judge since he refused to take the oath.
He is a murderer, and took money to consummmate the murder.
Furthermore, he violated Indictment 9 of Nuremberg, to wit:
" 9. Between September 1939 and April 1945 the defendants Karl Brandt, Blome, Brack, and Hoven unlawfully, willfully, and knowingly committed war crimes, as defined by Article II of Control Council Law No. 10, in that they were principals in, accessories to, ordered, abetted, took a consenting part in, and were connected with plans and enterprises involving the execution of the so-called "euthanasia" program of the German Reich in the course of which the defendants herein murdered hundreds of thousands of human beings, including nationals of German-occupied countries. This program involved the systematic and secret execution of the aged, insane, incurably ill, of deformed children, and other persons, by gas, lethal injections, and diverse other means in nursing homes, hospitals, and asylums. Such persons were regarded as "useless eaters" and a burden to the German war machine. The relatives of these victims were informed that they died from natural causes, such as heart failure. German doctors involved in the "euthanasia" program were also sent to Eastern occupied countries to assist in the mass extermination of Jews."

ALL of us are going to die anyway.
"She wouldn't want to live this way" is the classic argument for euthanasia.
Did you get that quote from the MSM? No one in her family ever said that. My question is, "How does someone do damage to their heart, and be healthy enough to survive years of neglect in a 'PVS', and 13 days with NO FOOD OR WATER??" Sounds like a pretty healthy heart to me...
Better not tell people to take valium, by the way.
First, you dont sound like a physician, and
second, its metabolite induces argumentative and pejorative behavior.
"I think I am suffering from News overload."
Me too.
