I'll agree with that concerning the left media. I was surprised though at people I know on the far left who feel the same as I do on this issue. Respect for life does cross political lines sometimes.
I'm happy to hear that you know some on the left who will err on the side of life, rather than death. All I've heard from the leftists I know is how right it was to let her die. I remind them that she wasn't "let to die" through act of omission, but rather by comission. But the ones I know are the same who justify the murder of abortion by reducing a (albiet) small human, to a non human entity.
I suppose the truth here is that true leftists reveal their understanding of murder by their twisting of the truth, in order to justify it. Even THEY don't want innocent blood on their hands outwardly.
But...attempt to wash it as they may, they still have it on them!

The ones I speak of on the left understood she wasn't being "allowed" to die, she was being killed by starvation.
