Unbelievable!!! I thought Carlos was a little more in tune 'spiritually' than that. (He's always claimed to be) Just d@mn!! Is there any entertainer left with half a brain? What do they drink in Hollywood, communist punch?

Perhaps when he was calling himself "Devadip", but that was 30* years ago. Now he's just another old hippie playing the same old notes on his guitar.

I know there was a reason I didn't buy that Grammy winning dvd in 2000. Great couple of songs though. That's about all he ever produces at one time throughout his career.

Like all good little hippies, he believes in recycling, and it DEFINITELY applies to his guitar playing. Ever notice how "Smooth" is a direct ripoff of "Guajira" from Santana III?

Absolutely. That's one reason I didn't buy the album. All his music has been a bore over the decades after on sitting. Guess too much pot and hallucinogens. It was a great marketing scheme though paring him with what's his name (don't buy his music either).

A really cool counter-counter culture T-shirt would be of Che in the crosshairs, with the words commie murderer underneath!!

It sickens me that this S.O.B is a genuine fashion statement on the campuses of PBCC and FAU in West Palm FL. I asked a girl in one of my classes if she knew who it was on her T shirt. All she knew is that he died trying to "help" the people of South America. Scary stuff.

Did you catch Carlos Santana's grand entrance at the Oscars? Well, the famed guitarist couldn't contain himself. He stopped for the photographers, smiled deliriously and swung his jacket open. TA-DA! There it was: Carlos' elegantly embroidered Che Guevara T-shirt. Carlos' face as the flashbulbs popped said it all. "I'm so COOL!" he beamed. "I'm so HIP! I'm so CHEEKY! So SHARP! So TUNED IN!" Yawn. Big deal...Just another case of epater le bourgeois as the French say. Something done to shock the just-too-common-for-words middle class (that's us). You can bet your bottom dollar that if Che Cuevara T-shirts became the thing with us bourgeois Santana and that crowd wouldn't be caught dead in one.

The next thing Santana can do is trim the mustache to one of those little Hitler things.
This way, he'll have all the despots covered.

Someone should make a shirt depicting all the dead Cubans who tried to flee Che's vision of "Paradise".

Everyone needs to read this, just to be reminded of the ugly truth behind the glittering legend that is Ernesto Guevara.

He was a boy, couldn't have been much older than 12, maybe 14.And then we saw Che unholstering his pistol. It didn't seem possible. But Che raised his pistol, put the barrel to the back of the boy's neck and blasted. The shot almost decapitated the young boy.

He WAS performing a song from "The Motorcycle Diaries", which is about Che, so the shirt kind of made sense, even if it is in bad taste.
